Renovation of original fittings

This group of photographs show how we care to ensure that original style architecture is carefully prepared and finished to ensure that the property owner can display the best of an older house and not to have to resort to replacing period features.

Also note the care we take to preserve the home owners soft furnishings and fittings.

The cast radiators were stripped right back and coated with specialized metallic paint by ourselves to create the original look. Farrow and Ball wall paints were used to give the house that traditional look of how old houses should be.
Dado wall and skirtings painted the same colour so as not to give the stripe effect which you can get if you use to many colours and the whole feel gives a solid soft look.

These pictures show our specialist work to renovate timber beams of the traditional Cheshire style of architecture.

First, the timbers were stripped back and then coated with 'Zinsser' specialist primer which we use to stop any future 'bleeding'. An undercoat of 'Sikkens ONOL' was added before a two final top coats of 'Sikkens Satura' to complete the work.

These pictures show the care that we take in protecting our customers home. The first picture shows a room in preperation with a hardwood floor. We cover the floor in 'Packexe' which is a specialist floor protection system.

The second picture shows the completed decoration with the floor, which has been fully protected, in perfect condition.

This was a large old victorian house in Bowdon.
It incorporated modern fittings with old original features. I used  Zoffany papers,Lined walls painted with Farrow and Ball colours ,original solid pine doors painted Black eggshell, original 12 inch skirtings eggshelled.

Ultra modern or traditional-we can transform your property to your design.
